Garlic Chive

This is a very popular, attractive herb with garlic-flavored leaves that you can enjoy fresh or dried.  The stems of this Asian herb aren’t hollow and are skinnier and flatter than traditional chives. Garlic chives prefer fertile soil but are easy to grow in any outdoor garden. The plants will tolerate light shade, but try for full sun and be sure to harvest the stem almost all the way to the ground to ensure this herb produces new stems.
