Description:

Improved variety of ninebark with neat, compact branching and fine, deeply cut, dark crimson-red leaves. Summer Wine® combines the fine texture of Physocarpus 'Nanus' with the dark foliage of Diabolo®. Requires little pruning. Pinkish-white flowers in mid-summer show nicely against the dark foliage.
